Woodstock attractions

Situated in the New England region in the Northeastern part of United States of America, Vermont is a beautiful state. Th state which is bordered by the Connecticut River in its Eastern side is also a very popular tourist destination and is visited by thousand of national and international tourists throughout the year. The small and beautiful towns that are located in different parts of the state offer a lot tom people and remain thickly crowded with tourists in almost every season. Woodstock is one such town in Vermont that attracts large number of tourists every season for various reasons. Woodstock attractions are large in numbers and are some of the most interesting in the entire state.

Located in Windsor county, Woodstock is one of the oldest towns in Vermont, where you would find several specimens of ancient art and architecture. Greek revival houses that border the central square of the town are important part of Woodstock attractions. Located right in between Rutland and White River Junction, the Idyllic Village is also one of the most important Wodstock attractions. Large number of tourists visit the Idyllic Village to experience its old-world beauty.

However, the old-world beauty is not the only attraction of Idyllic Village. This is the place where you would find other major Woodstock attractions like Billing farm and Museum and several spots for adventurous activities like skiing, hiking and golfing. Billing Farm and Museum got its name from Frederick Billings who established it in Woodstock in the year 1871. Today it serves both as a farm and a museum where you would find several specimens that speak about farm life in New England region in late 1800s.



Other major Woodstock attractions include Rockefeller National Historic Park and White River National Fish Hatchery. Rockefeller National Historic Park is a place that focuses on conservation and land stewardship in America and White River National Fish Hatchery is a project on restoring Atlantic Salmon to Connecticut River.
